Description
Eastmont School District’s 7th graders will find themselves alongside professionals working in the field of natural resources, art and engineering as they spend a day at the Horan Nature Area located in Wenatchee next to Confluence State Park. The 7th graders will investigate the watershed, the impacts of development on this nature area located in the midst of an urban space, and share their findings through art. Over 4 days, over 360 students will engage in the station activities that relate to their classwork learning about ecosystems and their interactions.
