Join Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners for a deep dive into coastal hazards in Washington.

Participants will learn about the Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline format, designed around six guiding principles: Indigenous perspectives, local anchoring phenomena, culturally responsive instructional practices, NGSS three-dimensional student growth measures, a solutions-oriented approach to addressing coastal hazards, and opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities.

This in-person opportunity is for K-12 classroom teachers in Kitsap County and ESD 113 and will be held in Belfair, WA.*

Participants who attend the entire session will receive:-6 Washington State approved STEM Clock Hours-The opportunity to earn a $200 implementation stipend

*Additional location details to follow via email for those who register. We recommend bringing a sack lunch, as only 30 minutes will be provided for lunch.

Registration is open to K-12 classroom teachers in Kitsap County and ESD 113.
