Through asynchronous and synchronous learning, teachers will engage with activities and experts as they grow their understanding of the complexities of heat and wildfire as exacerbated by climate change and what action they can take with their students.

Analyze and interpret recent climate science data with Dr. Kat Huybers, a climate scientist and lecturer from the University of Washington and progress understanding on the most salient climate change indicators in eastern Washington.

10 STEM clock hours will be provided by EarthGen (4 hours synchronous, 6 hours asynchronous)
