Join the Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners to take a deep dive into the role of Washington’s forests in climate change resiliency. Participants will learn about the solutions-oriented learning storyline format, which includes: centering Indigenous perspectives, local anchoring phenomena, NGSS three-dimensional formative assessment, and a solutions-oriented approach to drawing down greenhouse gases with opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities.
This workshop is part of a series of activities that includes:
- Three-hours in-person at Shadow Lake Nature Preserve on Saturday, February 25th, 9:00 AM – Noon
- Two-hours online on Wednesday, March 1st, 4:00 – 6:00 PM
- One-hour of asynchronous work

Stipend:
A $100 participation stipend
STEM Clock Hours:
6 Washington State approved STEM clock hours with the option of implementing their grand-band storyline for an additional $200 stipend.
