3-Day Immersion Class“ OCDE Project GLAD®” Unit

As we researched the enormous impact of climate change, we found so many voices of hope in how people around the world are addressing it. Come to this brand-new 3-day class offering and leave with the following:

• An NTC Project GLAD® unit with technology connections
• Science investigations supporting NTC GLAD® input charts
• An amazing action plan that empowers students to make changes, helping our planet
• The first EVER Project GLAD® unit that is Open Educational Resource (OER)
• All the materials to teach it: Picture File Cards, Observation Charts, Big Book, & more!

Designed for 4th- 8th grade classrooms, however many grade levels could benefit from its powerful strategies and message. While this class is not a GLAD Tier I training, it will benefit both GLAD Tier I trained teachers and those who are new to learning about GLAD.

All participants who complete the three-day course will be provided their own Project GLAD® classroom kit. This event is fully funded by the Washington State Climate Science Proviso. Up to 18 STEM clock hours will be available for purchase after completion of this workshop.
