Engaging in Locally Relevant Climate Science

Join ESD 113 and Pacific Education Institute (PEI) to take a deep dive into the role of Washington’s forest in climate change resiliency. Participants will learn about utilizing science notebooks, field experiences, locally relevant phenomena and climate science data to bring valuable lessons that elevates student voice to the learning environment. Educators will have dedicated time to research phenomena, collaborate and create lessons to meet the needs of their students and the Next Generation Science Standards. This workshop is part of a blended learning series.
